Reflections on the end of the Iraq war

Reflections on the end of the Iraq war: "WAR WIDOW BELIEVES IRAQ IS BETTER OFF
Mary Belchik understands the cost of war like few others. Her husband, Cpl. Christopher Belchik, was nearing the end of his second Iraq tour and was two months short of returning to civilian life when he was killed by a roadside bomb in August 2004. Belchik, 30, of Alton, was a squad leader with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment.
Mary Belchik, 34, of Madison County, doesn't consider her husband's death in vain.
A dictator and his regime are gone. A nation is better off, she said."
