Mama Selalu Mengorbankan Punggungnya: "by. Julianto Simanjuntak***
Mama selalu waspada jika Papa lagi marah. Dia mengawasi jangan sampai anaknya dipukulin.
Suatu hari Papa merasa uangnya hilang, lalu menuduh abang kelima mengambil.

Founder of Vt nonprofit named CNN Hero of the Year - WCAX.COM Local Vermont News, Weather and Sports-: "Barre, Vermont - December 13, 2011
This week CNN named the founder of the nonprofit Bumi Sehat Foundation International, Robin Lim, its 2011 Hero of the Year.
"I don't think any of us were really expecting to win, all 10 nominees hoped to win, but I don't know how to expect to win something like that," said Katherine Bramhall of Bumi Sehat.
The honor recognizes the group's efforts to make sure Indonesian women have healthy pregnancies and babies. Lim runs the operation in Indonesia, her partner Katherine Bramhall organizes Bumi Sehat's volunteers and supplies that are sent overseas from her headquarters in Barre.
"There are days when I feel like I am too tired to do it and inevitably somebody will send me some kind of support, whether it is a box of knitted hats or a donation or just a really, really good idea to help, that's the kind of thing I rely on personally," Katherine Bramhall said.
The organization beat thousands of other nominees for the award. Now it will use the $250,000 prize to build a new clinic in Indonesia."

Iskandar said the number of police officers who were found to be drug users was between 850 and 1,000. One hundred and eighty nine of the officers were sent to a month-long training and guidance session for drug users at the Aceh Police station.
“We’ll see whether they will change or not in a month using the indicators we have set up,” Iskandar said. “If they cannot be changed, we’re going to fire them.”
The National Narcotics Agency conducted hair tests to determine if the officers were using drugs. A former subdistrict police chief was among those who tested positive."

After extensive library research and interviews with sources in Indonesia and abroad, it can be concluded that ten conglomerate owners have been involved in financing military and paramilitary violence in Indonesia.

Obama will hold talks with Maliki at the White House, have a press conference and join his visitor at nearby Arlington National Cemetery where many of the nearly 4,500 US war dead lie buried following the 2003 US invasion.
Tens of thousands of Iraqis also died in a war, insurgency and civil dislocation that left Iraq with the stirrings of a democratic, yet troubled political system and facing territorial challenges from neighbor Iran."

Palestinians Slam Remarks by US Presidential Candidate | Middle East | English: "Palestinians have expressed outrage at Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, who described them as an “invented people.”
During an interview with the Jewish Channel, a cable television channel in the United States, Gingrich departed from official American policy which supports the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.
“There was no Palestine as a state," he said. "It was part of the Ottoman Empire. And I think that we’ve had an invented Palestinian people who are in fact Arabs, and who were historically part of the Arab community. And they had a chance to go many places, and for a variety of political reasons we have sustained this war against Israel now since the 1940s, and I think it’s tragic," Gingrich said.
Palestinian officials described the remarks as “despicable” and “racist.”
Negotiator Saeb Erekat accused Gingrich of denying the existence of the Palestinian people and said that will lead to more hatred and violence. "

Woman Who Attacked Obama Over Health Care Reform Apologizes After Breast Cancer Diagnosis | ThinkProgress: "WOMAN WHO ATTACKED OBAMA OVER HEALTH CARE REFORM APOLOGIZES AFTER BREAST CANCER DIAGNOSIS | In an op-ed titled “‘Obamacare to the rescue,” a woman who was once so angered by the Affordable Care Act that she left the Democratic Party is apologizing to President Obama. Spike Dolomite Ward found out three weeks ago that she has breast cancer. She and her husband had given up their health insurance to pay their mortgage, and she didn’t know how she would afford months of expensive treatment. But then she discovered that she could receive coverage under the Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plan, which is part of ACA. Ward specifically addresses other opponents of health care reform who might not understand her plight because they have insurance through their employer. “[T]hings can change abruptly. If you still have a good job with insurance, that doesn’t mean that you’re better than me, more deserving than me or smarter than me. It just means that you are luckier. And access to healthcare shouldn’t depend on luck,” she said.

If you define that as someone who does evil things and doesn’t feel remorse, the picture of a smirking Steve Jobs does begin to emerge.
Jobs was busy changing the world and minor annoyances like people’s feelings didn’t fit into his plan. If you had something he wanted, Steve could be charming. But Steve did things his way, almost for himself, building the things he wanted and if we loved them, that was good too. If not, it took a long time for Steve to accept that customers were right and he was wrong."
